Forged Folder

March 15, 16, 2025 from 10:00am – 4:00pm

In this class we will forge a blade, and handle to make a friction folder. This is a intermediate class and you should have basic forging skills. In this class you will learn how I develop and design a folding knife. We will forge a blade to a template, and cut and forge a mild steel handle for the blade we forge. You will leave with a fully functional friction folder, with a unique forged finish. Please wear proper ppe and clothing. All students will need to sign a liability release waiver when you arrive. Class is size is limited to 4-6 students. Please bring safety glasses, wear 100 percent cotton clothing, and leather or cotton shoes. Please bring a lunch if you so choose, there is a pub about 3 miles from the shop that has pretty good food and we will break for lunch. Water is provided. Any one who wishes to cancel their class must do so 2weeks beforehand or you will not receive a refund as it may be difficult for me to find a replacement to fill the vacancy. Cost of this class is 600.00 per student.
